Sat apparently prefers the perfectly centered one, but I think that the offset one looks more natural as well. In high resolutions, perfectly centered inside the browser viewport is usually below the center of the screen, and we're used to read from top to bottom which makes it weird to have the first paragraph (text balloon) below the mid of the screen.

I've just rewrote the code to what I consider more clean. Prior to now, the speech bubble position was based on the browser's calculation of center-alignment in the available space taking in consideration negative margins.
I've rewrote it to do all positioning without floats and with a much more sturdy cross-browser positioning. hxxp://jsbin.com/obofup/54

Seeing as border-radius is only supported in IE versions 9 and up, I'm not sure whether to remove the speech bubble's arrow for IE8. It looks kinda lol but not too bad I guess. Might make it available in IE6-7 if keeping it for IE8.
