I do my linework in flash with the brush tool, although that last one is just the pencils.

Your lines are exceptionally clean for being pencil. It is scanned right? or are you talking about a pencil tool?

Yeah, it's just scanned, the only trick to getting clean lines is to have a light touch when you construct the picture in hard (HB) pencil and then to erase stray lines as you go when you go over it with a softer (4B or 6B) one.

Also, years of practice helps.

I bought a whole set of art pencils two or three years ago, but I had issues with using the lighter H ones. I couldn't see the lines and pressing harder left scratches. So I started using a B and just used a light touch. I liked the results more, but I end up with more stray lines and artefacts (smudges on the page). I guess I'm missing the years of practice Smile. Nothing to do, but to keep at it.

Again, I love your work.
