I think he said rewrite; he probably didn't translate the text but rather made up a story for the pics.

Thanks Testy. It is a Re-Write. Not a Translation by any means. You take the "flow" of action, and as someone said, make up a story that could go with it. There are too few translators out there, particularly doing this genre of mangas.

I put this one up to see if this kind of "work" is acceptable to this forum. If it is not, just say so, and I won't post. I lurked for a few days and didn't see any Re-writes. I can leave as easy as I came.

Besides, if you want to get technical, like names, then how many Japanese have round eyes and blonde hair? Just trying to "Westernize" it.

If you want to know if something is acceptable, it seems to me asking (like PMing a mod) would be much better than just posting and finding out. Noone said anything about it being unacceptable, so no reason to write stuff like "I can leave as easy as I came" unprovoked. Noone was really bashing your post, just clarifying the content.

Not many Japanese have round eyes and blonde hair, but they do exist. They're usually picked on too, but that's a story for another topic...

good post i love the story and the drawings are some what how i know it from some where i tought it was in the japanes version of it in a book i have here but still i do like the names doug and dottie its funny Wink

I like re-writes, I know that a lot more people can see the pictures and imagine whats happening than can read the text and know whats happening.
I was going to do a re-write once, but you know what happened?
