Help with japanese settings

um i also have a question .Dont know if this is the irght board but some of u guys will pron\ knoiw. When i set my settings to the japanese thing it ask for a windows cd. But when i put my cd in (illagal cd). It doesnt see the file.....

Ne one know a different solution ?

Q: I am running Windows 98 SE and am having problems with displaying Japanese characters in games I've downloaded from DLsite.com. As far as I know, I have installed all the Japanese language packs and support programs I need. The previous link only discusses Windows OS after 98. I am considering reinstalling Windows thinking it might correct the problem.

If anyone has any suggestions as to how to get the characters to correctly display in the games, I would be most grateful. Thanks.

try getting it.

Also, you might get fancy, and install a second windows98 that is japanese...

I tried getting Kanjiweb but all the links seem to be broken. After much searching I found a program called Mview that works great. Thanks again for the timely help.
