Set sort order permanent in forums

They are. All the threads are put from newest at top til oldest at bottom, the only exception is the sticky threads that will be at top all the time. and that canÃ‚Â´t be changed by a user, i donÃ‚Â´t even know if the Admins can change that or if it is in the Forum code itself.

Ah so you want the newest posts first in the threads.

Look at the orange bar just above the quick reply box, you can see "display posts from previous". Choose "newest first" in the 2nd list and press "go".

I know about this possibility, but every time when I change to another thread I've to
scroll down and chose this option again. Is there a way to set 'Newest first' as default?
