So here's how it goes:
Both you and your opponent has a HP; whomever goes to 0 first loses
The HP is decreased when:
1. a card is drawn
2. you take damage
3. you draw additional cartridges
EDIT:
At the beginning of the game, you must build your deck. Second and Third option automatically builds your deck; second option creates a basic deck while third option creates either a random deck, or a deck that matches your opponent's. You can build your own, provided that you must have 50 cards. You can only put a maximum of four cards of any given card to the deck. However, do notice that you can assemble your deck once, and only once; right at the beginning of a "new game".
The Cards are divided into three:
-Close Range Cards; these deals direct damage to HP, and has the cost same as the value written on it:
1. Combat Knife--100 DMG
2. Dual Machete--200 DMG
3. Taser--300 DMG
4. Grenade--400 DMG
5. The Almighty Harisen--500DMG
-Middle-Range cards that destroys opponent's cartridge and awards an equal value as the one written on the card to yours, cost is value on the card -1. Do note that the amount awarded is the same, regardless of enemy cartridges destroyed.
1. Pistol (Glock 19)--1 cartridge
2. Submachinegun (Uzi)--2 cartridges
3. Machinegun (FN P90)--3 cartridges
4. Shotgun (Mossberg 500)--4 cartridges
5. Sniper Rifle (SVD)--5 cartridges
6. Assault Rifle (M4)--6 cartridges
-Long-Range cards that destroys opponent's cards, cost is value on card -1. You can destroy an equal number of cards as the value written on the card. If the card has a value of "6", it destroys the entire opponent's hands automatically.
1. Light grenade launcher (HK69)--1 card
2. Medium grenade launcher (M79)--2 cards
3. Multi-round grenade launcher (RG-6)--3 cards
4. Single-shot rocket launcher (M72 LAW)--4 cards
5. Rocket launcher (RPG-7)--5 cards
6. Mortar launcher (M252)--6 cards
-Special Cards. Usually these cards re-award cartridges required to use them so in a sense, they don't use up your cartridges, just 'borrow' them, with some exceptions.
examples:
a. Landmine: deals 700 damage to opponent when the card is destroyed using LR cards, but cannot be used otherwise.(cost=0)
b. Submarine: Inflicts 400 damage (cost=2, reusable)
c. Bonta-Kun: Inflicts 700 damage (cost=5, non-reusable)
d. Stun Grenades: makes opponent skip a turn (cost=10, highest cost in the game)
e. Tomahawk Missile card which destroys the entire enemy's hand and cartridge; not susceptible to enemy's Landmine card (cost=5, non-reusable)
f. Melon Bread card, restores 1000 HP (cost=7, non-reusable)
g. Tank Card: destroys four of enemy's cards in hand, awards one cartridge. (cost=2, reusable)
h. ARX-7 Arbalest: destroys all of enemy's cartridges; usable only when the opponent has any cartridges left. Awards 5 cartridges regardless of enemy cartridges destroyed. (cost=2)
i. Cartridge Card: increases your cartridges by 3; very useful (cost=0)
Gameplay:
-first round starts by both players drawing 6 cards, reducing HP from 5000 to 4400; this is your de facto maximum HP.
-you always go first, always.
-in the end of each turn, regardless of whose, both players' cards are replenished, deducting 100 HP per card. The player's card is replenished first, and then your opponent's, if it's the player's turn. The opposite also applies.
-You have a limit of 10 rounds (one round is the end of your opponent's turn) to finish the duel.
-you can only lose twice times for each opponent. Lose the third time=game over.
-Once you cleared an opponent (a stage), your progress is autosaved. But quitting midway of a match (amongst the three battles), and you must start over from the beginning when you load.
