yes, in Japanese locale and I've tried to find any setting in the game's menu but nothing changes... oh well, guess I don't get to have a translation
I am also having this issue installed the game copied over the files and nothing is translated.

I appreciate you trying to help... I am running windows 10 64x
When you say install... I have nothing to install from the translated torrent files, just an exe file that opens the game... I didn't even have the original installed so there were no files to overwrite or whatever in my Program Files x86 folder, just a folder with the original game files on my desktop. I will install the original game (latest version) and will see if there is anything I can do from there.
Do you mean to say, copy the files from the translated torrent into the game's files once the original is installed?

I have reached the end of my patience with this and have given up. I don't know why it won't work for me and at this point I don't care any more. I've downloaded both versions, original and translated, 3 times each to make sure I wasn't getting corrupted files and I'm done trying.
Thanks for attempting to help and for supplying all the downloads... I'm just not interested anymore.

it's weird, the game works in english for most of the people, i have no idea why for some reason for few of them it doesn't work, i'm running also with win 10 and it work good...

I confirm, MEGA download works just fine. Game starts up without problem.
That said -haven't played it yet-, the game is just partially tranlsated, right? Most of the scene select options and UI hints are still in Japanese. Or is it just me? That "respective sub systems required" above got me thinking.
Also, the intro video, before the title screen, seems to be tearing quite a bit. Not unbearable, but still quite noticeable. Or is that only on my end?
