I like these so far. Also like the idea that maybe Staci is more experienced and open to sex, love cock and pussy and would be down to fuck at a moments notice where as Keady needs to be "trained" and her experiences are more into the forced/humiliation thing.

@risa: You nailed it, Keady's story is that she was blackmailed into a world of perverse pleasures and while she isn't immune to the pleasure she is tortured and humiliated by the "wrongness" of it all, and then shame that she feels good and wants more.

Staci is much more open, and while her first encounter was a forced situation, she didn't run from it, in fact she went along willingly and is soon the little fuck queen that you described.

At some point I'll be organized to post some of the stuff in order.

Have you ever read the Marquis de Sade's Justine or The Misfortunes of Virtue and Juliette?

In Justine, the main character tries to live a good life full of virtue and no voice but winds up being forced into sex slavery and raped by like anyone she meets.

In Juliette, Justine's sister embraces sex and vice and lives a very nice life.

I can see your two characters being like that.

Needed a break from coloring, so a pic of Staci and Keady together, and a pic of them snowballing. I needed a ref for the snowballing pose and it shows. I really want to get better so I don't need to rely on ref material as much. Time! There need to be more of it so I can go into a pocket dimension study for 5 years and reemerge right now with all the skills and practice already done! Oh well, I suppose every drawing that isn't where I want it to be s just another stone on the path.

I also might tweak the faces on the girls, they look a bit flat.

The hairstyles were a request from the client/collaborator, as was the request to see them standing together nude.

You shouldn't worry so much about copying. As Picasso said, "Good artists copy, great artists steal." Most artist that I have researched have used models. Classical comic strips artists such as Alex Raymond for example who drew the classic Flash Gordon strip used models for poses ALL the time. Stan Drake, another classical comic strip (Juliet Jones strip) used photos that he took himself and actually traced off the photos.

My favorite comix artist Jean (moebius) Giraud copied a lot of photos. I will prepare a folder of his works and show you how often he copied. So copying is normal. You just have to make sure you hide the fact..Wink

Thanks, I don't really mind that I used a ref, I just want to be better about translating the reference as a guideline rather than a reproduction.

Big secret, the best artists I know use refs. Old school and newer gen artists alike. Comic artists, painters and storybook creators. The guy that does Dinotopia takes photos of models and other such things himself for reference. Not going to get into how refs were made to create Spawn. lol

It doesn't make you a bad artist to use refs. It's only bad if it's forever a crutch and you can't push yourself to learn from the refs and expand beyond them. Translation of ref into your creation takes practice. What I see in this thread is all good stuff, so don't worry too much. Feather Neko 2
