anyone know if someone released an uncensored version of these games with the exception of the 2 already posted?

I heard from someone that if you have proof of purchase that you can contact the authors and get the uncensored versions directly from them. I tried it but never got a reply. It doesn't help that they don't speak English and are fucking ridiculous to contact.

Can anyone confirm?

Ah. That's not the case for me. Choosing the movies directly result in the same problem. It also affects the older games release by marlemade star. I'll figure it out eventually probably.

Run into a pretty wicked problem. The games work normally fullscreen. But the video portions of the game (almost always the finishes) are black unless I'm in fullscreen. Downloaded a codec pack, run in compatibility mode, etc etc. Anybody deal with this before?

So after throwing my hat in the ring and enlisting help. The solution to the aforementioned problem is that there is no solution.

So after deep diving through the half of the internet I can't understand since I don't speak the language, the only constant I've found is that livemaker itself (which is no longer in development and won't be made more compa for w10) has problems with w10. I imagine it's something to do with the wmv videos using wmp or some other egghead whatnot I don't understand.

On their blog Marmalade Star stated that the reason the update for RJ239141 is pretty much just the same game but remade for Unity is because of these same problems with some users. Which probably will end up being a pain in the neck in the long run for archival purposes so... I guess knowing what I know now, I can probably properly find help seeking a workaround for modern system (or knowing if I need to give up). I don't believe staying on an outdated graphics card driver to be a suitable long term solution if that actually works. And worse come to worse fullscreen isn't all that bad.

As I was going through the (surprisingly large) number of livemaker games. I've purchased or acquired over the years it ends up being the case that even fullscreen doesn't solve the problems for some games. Or rather it does, but the fps dips or the looping breaks in half and becomes terrible, which is something I read about for other games but thought I was mercifully exempt from. In the end the only real "solution" is going to be either a virtual machine or a dual boot. Or just going back to 7 and stubbornly staying until the armageddon. (though to sate my own curiosity I'm going to throw a fresh install of 10 on another machine and get started with it all over again)

TL;DR:
Not looking like a fix is available at this point in time and everybody from Europe to Asia is well aware that these conflicts exist.

And as a final conclusion of this rather disappointing saga. It works on a fresh install of 7 but does not on 10. If you've got some works by Kaeri no Kai 2, marmalade star, the games in this thread, and goodness knows how many examples there is, and you are subject to this problem, the only discernable solution I've discovered is simply biting the bullet and using a VC, dual booting, downgrading your graphics card drivers, and that's about it.

Glad that's over.
But I'm not actually done with searching for a way to make it work better.
