Nope. As for understanding things depends on the game. Some have "plot" some are just pure cringe xD Try VNR thingie even just using it with machine translation wich is uber easy you will get decent translation wich will let u to know whats going on and you dont need to be an nasa engineer to use it xD

Haha, thanks buddy. I think I'll do with translating it using google translate. Even if the english is cringe inducing, I can understand enough Japanese (in english text) to at least get the gist. Doubt I'd need to know more for games like these lol.

Did you change your system's language region to japanese? Applocale doesn't work 100% in this case im afraid.

The easiest way to play these is to install VirtualBox and Windows 7 as a VM. Never had any issues. And it's easy. Takes maybe 30 minutes. You do need a Windows 7 install disc, img, rom, or iso though.

Just found that for the Jap Locale thing, pretty easy to use just right click on the .exe and click on "Locale Emulator/Run in Japanese" hxxps://github.com/xupefei/Locale-Emulator/releases
