I originally seeded at pretty much over 1.0 MB/s, set for unlimited upload speed.
The up speed has dropped way off for me, maybe because the peer to seed ratio
is down to 2:1. There are plenty of seeders (150 when last checked) so I am going
to reduce my upload. I have seeded this to an upload of 47.6 GB and ratio of 24.284.
There are now enough seeds to get this at a reasonably fast download rate.

hmmm. It´s crying about a missing d3dx9_42.dll file. Anyone else got this problem?

Yes, I had the problem. d3dx9_42.dll is included in DirectX 9.0c which came with Service Pack 2. Already had DX9c, reinstalled it at least twice in the last three years and again today. After service pack2 in 2004, microsoft went to updating DX9c with auto update on a quarterly basis. Many got corrupted DX9c files possibly due to internet connection problems during the updates.

Edit:

After reinstalling DX9c, the message about the missing dll disappeared, the game starts ok, but this little, old, laptop still has a problem... the graphics are garbled. I'm going to continue working the problem, every other graphics game I have that I've tried today works fine under DX 9.0c. I really want to run this game.

Don't forget DirectX Diagnostic Tool (dxdiag.exe)... search WINDOWS folder for it.

Thanks for the upload! Got it from the torrent and it's running fine after the noDVD patch (no d3dx9_42.dll error, thankfully).

Edit: Actually, I just noticed the text is slightly garbled... The character spacing seems a bit off and some of them go over each other, which is a bit weird (but they're still readable).

Could someone please re-up this on Mega.co ?

Did you extract the patch to the game folder?
