Anaglyphic 3D Lolicon |

I stumbled upon this thread yesterday: http://littleangelshentai.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=6377&postdays=0&postorder=asc&start=0 and was a bit disappointed to find that it wasn't the kind of 3D you can use those special red and blue glasses with-so I looked up a tutorial and converted them in Photohop. Here are a few of the results, I might share more later.

On topic as it may be, I'm curious what's different between Anaglyphic and the way they're doing the new 3D movies.
I have a pair of those special glasses, and I already know they don't work the same, but I'm curious what it would have to work for these, you know?

EDIT:
And with this, I answered my own question.
hxxp://www.wired.com/gadgetlab/2009/12/3d-movies/
Which basically means, the new form of 3D won't be very possible, if ever, in the home setting. Bah humbug.

Yeah, in order to do the new type of 3D (the kind used for stuff like Avatar)-on your end you'd need to have a monitor with a "refresh rate" (as I understand it) capable of displaying that type of 3D. How the new type of 3D works is by having a very high frame-rate that basically displays the two "perspectives" near-simultaneously. The glasses contain two differently polarized lenses designed to focus in on the different perspectives being displayed.
What I'd have to do to create a still image using that type of 3D is probably find some way to code a new type of animated gif that'll animate at a sufficient speed to create a similar effect. It would probably load fairly quickly however given that it would essentially only be two frames of animation infinitely looped.
I imagine that one day, once 3D-compatible displays become more common (if we don't have actual holographic displays by then)-somebody will probably develop a 3D-based still image format. Again, I'd imagine it'd be VERY easy to program (again, a format containing two images that animate between each other very quickly), it's just that I'm not a programmer myself.

This amused me, so I thought I'd try my hand at it.

Yea about the only monitors I know of are Developed by Nvidia they have refresh rates of 120fps
if you want to spend about $300-$500 then you have to back it up with one heck of a Gfx card so yea
