Hse: Han, nice to see the evolution between the first post and now, good job !
Thank you. A chunk of that early stuff was from a time when I was hiding from my friends and a few doctors that I was having trouble holding things properly after my back was hurt. Kind of sucks having to reteach yourself how to draw. It's why I say I know more than my drawings display.
Wiegraf: I always wish I could give more insightful responses but at the risk of repeating myself, I think this last sketch is cute and really like what you do with line quality. I know that manual dextrous stability is something that you struggle with personally. As a fan though, and I think most would agree, your work always seems to come out tight, clean and above all, adorable. This dino-girl is no different (forgive me if I got the anthro source off, she looks like a dino-cutie).
I've been watching a lot of new Dragon Ball recently and she kinda reminds me of the Frieza family/character design. It's like if instead of evil, they were hot lolis, lol.
The Jelly-blast girls were cute as hell too. I can't say enough for all your work, so I'll just leave it at that. Thanks for sharing, as always!
Thanks! The look is part of how I learned. Comics and cartoons were my teachers in an uncaring setting for many years growing up.
The girl is a salamander, but dinos and several reptiles and amphibians tend to have similar heads when turned anthro. Not the first person in the history of ever to not know exactly what you're looking at in a hand drawn image.
I've liked the stuff in your thread as well for a while now too. Sorry if I haven't said as much before now. Hoping you can turn out something again for your fans to enjoy. I love seeing other artists work and grow.

Hey all. I've got a new computer, and I'm tweaking it as I go, experimenting and practicing things I haven't been able to do for a while because of the lack of workable digital media.
Did a quick sketch/ink of a gal I haven't drawn in a long time, one of my fantasy characters, Alalme. Went with a slightly more real look than normal when I draw her, but not too realistic. Hope folks like her.
EDIT: Made another pic. Feel dumb because I saved over the high res copy and there were too many stages in between for me to undo the deed. So, while I wanted to color this one later, I don't think I will.. -_-;

I'm still alive. Having major shaky hands issues tonight, but I managed to finish this one up. All I had left were the feet, ass and girly parts. Even with all the trouble I'm having tonight I could at least that much. Hope folks like this one. I might color this, or if someone would like I could share a .PSD or .CSP format of the lines so someone else can color it. Just send me a message if you feel like it.

I like your inking style quite a bit- "back in the day" though they'll never admit to it, some pro level inkers actually used Flash MX to do their primary passes due to the surprisingly competent basic vector brush it had.
Your technique reminds me very much of that old brush stroke

Thanks for the compliment.
I'm classically trained with quills and I've learned to translate a bit of that into the digital realm. I got lucky and got to learn how to use wacom tablets right as they were hitting the common market back when I was in high school. I was told by some amazing old artists that a tool is a tool. If a tool gets honest results it shouldn't be looked down upon. Something I say after all those lessons is, "If it leaves a mark, it can be used for art."

News update: I have had to drop out of the game as a commission artist and graphic designer. My hands have finally gotten too bad to hold a stylus, pencil or quill for more than five minutes at a time. That said, I do still plan on making art and trying to sell one off pieces and prints out in the world, but will not be at the sort of pace I have been training myself to maintain for the last two decades.
And, now for a new pic I just finished inking a little while ago.

Took a break, used my TENS unit and some ice, not together, and managed to pump out another inked doodle in my current naughty journal.
